Priyasha Sarna, PharmD

Dr. Priyasha Sarna is a Clinical Pharmacist Program Leader and Director of the PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency Program at Cureatr. She graduated with her PharmD from Northeastern University and completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at the Providence VA Medical Center followed by a PGY2 pharmacy residency specializing in Geriatrics at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center. In her current role, Dr. Sarna leads a team of pharmacy students and residents, and is involved in program management and development. Prior to joining Cureatr, Dr. Sarna served as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Long Island University School of Pharmacy with an ambulatory care practice site at Mount Sinai Beth Israel where she implemented clinical pharmacy services in a primary care clinic providing chronic disease management to high-risk patients and served as a preceptor to pharmacy students and residents. She went on to be a Clinical Pharmacy Manager in Ambulatory Care at Mount Sinai Beth Israel where she further expanded pharmacy services into other clinical areas including endocrinology, nephrology, transitions of care, and employee wellness. Priyasha has experience in medication therapy management as she is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy and Ambulatory Care Pharmacotherapy and is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.
