Rae A. McIntee, DDS, MD, MBA, FACS, CPE

Dr. Rae McIntee has spent the last 10 years as a medical director at large payor organizations where she has supported payment integrity and the special investigation units. She has over 30 years of clinical experience as a dentist and otolaryngologist in academic, group, and solo practices. With her team, she has become proficient in aligning correct coding guidance, documentation accuracy, network contracts, medical and reimbursement policies, clinical experience with data analysis, and artificial intelligence within national payor organizations to identify new aberrancies and schemes to ensure that health care dollars are spent wisely and accurately. She is a graduate of the Schools of Dentistry and Medicine at Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. She completed her otolaryngology residency at the University of Kansas after an internship in general surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Omaha. She finished her MBA with honors at the University of Notre Dame with a concentration on health care issues in 2010.
