Rosadaliz Berríos Colón

Senior Vice President, Customer Experience & Operations, Medical Card System, Inc.

Rosadaliz Berríos is a seasoned industrial engineer with more than 19 years specializing in the healthcare industry, in which she has successfully developed her career under the Medicare and Medicaid medical plan models, and most recently the Commercial plan model as well. She currently serves as MCS’s Senior Vice President of Operations and Customer Experience, managing customer service, experience, retention, and enrollment operations. She works closely with key areas of the company, including the executive team, to develop strategies, maximize business opportunities, and capitalize on them – all with a customer-centered approach.

Rosadaliz Berríos is a seasoned industrial engineer with more than 19 years specializing in the healthcare industry, in which she has successfully developed her career under the Medicare and Medicaid medical plan models, and most recently the Commercial plan model as well.

She currently serves as MCS’s Senior Vice President of Operations and Customer Experience, managing Customer Service, Experience, Retention and Enrollment operations. She works closely with key areas of the company, including the executive team, to develop strategies, maximize business opportunities, and capitalize on them – all with a customer-centered approach. Currently, MCS is a leading healthcare plan in Puerto Rico, serving more than 400,000 insureds with a network of more than 13,000 providers.

During the past 15 years of her career, she has been known for implementing and heading up new lines of business, strengthening operations, managing multidisciplinary teams, and transforming and adapting processes and operations that result in a better experience for customers and components of the health ecosystem (providers, IPAs, hospitals), as well as outlining strategies to strengthen relationships with providers and beneficiaries. Prior to this, she worked in the banking industry at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, where she began her professional career.

Berríos has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez campus, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras campus. She is also a member of the INOVA Advisory Board, a business incubator in Caguas that operates under the non-profit organization model.
