Stefanie Vigil, MPH, LMSW

Director, Community Health, True Health New Mexico

Stefanie Vigil serves as the Director of Community Health at True Health New Mexico, a health insurer that covers individuals, families, and small and large employer groups. Stefanie drives programmatic approaches to community outreach, community health, wellness, and population health as they relate to health plan members’ care. She has been instrumental in developing and implementing wellness programs for members and employees of True Health New Mexico. For 18 years, Stefanie has worked in marginalized communities promoting health education, disease prevention, and equity while empowering individuals to make decisions that foster a strong quality of life. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico in community health education and earned a dual master’s degree in public health and social work at the University of Pittsburgh.

Stefanie is on the Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico Health Advisory Committee; is a Leadership Albuquerque 2018-2019 graduate, 2021 Emerge New Mexico graduate, and Albuquerque Business First 40 under 40 honoree; serves as board vice chair for New Mexico Child Advocacy Network; and serves as the board secretary and treasurer for the Health Equity Council. Stefanie enjoys family time, good food, the outdoors, and being physically active.
