Todd Masser is a Senior Director with Optum Advisory Services and member of the Medical Management Practice with consultants possessing expertise to include prior authorization, concurrent review, case management, disease management, and appeals. He possesses clinical business operations, technology and process improvement expertise.
Todd has 24 years of health care experience across both provider and payer clinical business and technology operations. He has led clinical process improvement, clinical product management and clinical technology application development organizations supporting utilization management, care management and disease management. He has a successful track record for achieving high-quality low-cost results at all levels within an organization by harmonizing people, process and technology to increase operational effectiveness and improve clinical outcomes.
Prior to joining Optum Advisory Services, Todd spent 10 years in clinical consulting with GE Healthcare and 14 years serving in a variety of roles across UnitedHealth Group’s segments of UnitedHealth Care and Optum. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has a Bachelor’s degree from Saint John’s University and currently resides in Minneapolis MN.
