Wendy Zacchio

Wendy Zacchio joined Zelis Healthcare as the Enterprise Chief Information Officer (“CIO”) in January 2023. With over 25 years of experience in technology, most of it focused on strategic transformations, she was inspired by the company’s commitment to modernize the healthcare financial experience. Prior to Zelis, Wendy was the CIO/SVP of Cigna International Markets, accountable for defining technology strategy, leading architecture and engineering, implementing modern technologies, increasing cybersecurity preparedness, and executing delivery of technical solutions and M&A activities across 30+ countries. She partnered closely with the businesses to drive agile adoption and a product management-oriented culture, along with enabling greater data accessibility and improved digital user experiences. She also led the Cigna Enterprise Technology vendor and talent strategy, including the build out of global capabilities’ center in India.
Prior to Cigna, Wendy served as CIO/SVP to AIG’s Personal Insurance and International businesses across 80+ countries, after being SVP of AIG’s Life and Retirement Technology Shared Services within the US. She also held multiple technical and leadership roles at The Hartford, Pegasus Solutions and Fidelity Investments, spanning all levels of the technology stack.
