Andy Lazris, MD, received a BA in History at Brown University, his MD at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and his Internal Medicine training at University of Virginia.  He has written two books:  Interpreting Health Benefits and Risks (with Erik Rifkin) in 2015, and Curing Medicare (Cornell University Press) in 2016.  He currently is co-director of the primary care council at the Right Time Alliance, and has written multiple op-eds on health care reform and primary care.  He is a full-time physician and certified medical director at Personal Physician Care, a geriatrics practice that he founded.
