Ann Baker is currently Vice President of Care Management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan with responsibility across the HMO, PPO, senior and commercial markets.
She has more than 26 years experience in the health care industry. In her current position, she develops and manages BCBSM medical management programs including case management, chronic condition management, integrated care management programs and targeted condition programs.
Prior to her current position, Baker worked at Henry Ford Health System, where she was responsible for the design and management of research, clinical policy, clinical practice improvement and medical informatics initiatives.
She also worked for several years as a registered dietitian and health educator in the field. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Michigan State University, and a master’s degree in public health with a focus on health education and health behavior from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
