Bernard Farzin, MD serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Prominence Health Plan. In his role, he focuses on improving population health strategies, enhancing provider communication, community engagement and refining utilization and care management pathways. Prior to coming to Prominence, he held Medical Director roles at Healthcare Partners of Nevada and Providence Medical Group, Alaska. In those roles, he helped both organizations improve their culture and capacity to grow and thrive under value-based pay. He believes the road to success is paved through provider and patient engagement. He brings over 20 years of experience as a Primary Care Physician and Physician leader focusing mostly on the care of the elderly and building relationships with providers and patients. He is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.
