Vice President, Senior Medical Director, Clinical Services,
Bradford S. Curtis, MD currently serves as vice president and senior medical director over Medical Affairs and Clinical Quality in the Clinical Services Department of OptumRx. In this capacity, his primary responsibilities include providing clinical and scientific leadership in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives leading to improved clinical and cost-effective care. Dr. Curtis also oversees the Clinical Quality team to ensure clinical quality oversight of OptumRx’s programs, services and operations in satisfaction of URAC and NCQA accreditation standards, and in compliance with Federal and State regulatory requirements.
Prior to joining OptumRx, Dr. Curtis served as president and chairman of the board of a large primary care medical group in Southern California and has strong experience in the managed care sector.
Dr. Curtis received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in biological sciences and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of California, Irvine, his medical degree from the Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts and completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is Board Certified in Pediatrics.
