Bryan is currently the Vice President, Medicaid Transformation and Managing Director, Ventures at Kaiser Permanente, as well as serving in executive, board, and advisory capacities for organizations focused on driving better health outcomes. Most recently, he was the Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, where he brought new ideas and perspectives to the work of the Foundation, and challenged existing processes and assumptions to help build a Culture of Health more effectively. Previous to that, Bryan served as the Chief Technology Officer at the US Department of Health and Human Services, the Chief Innovation Officer to Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley, and the Chief Information/Technology Officer for the city of Washington, DC. Prior to public service, Bryan was the co-founder of InQuira (acquired by Oracle), an enterprise software company focused on bringing human understanding to corporate knowledge.
