Dr. Hill-Mekoba is an adult and geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She joined Matrix Medical Network in 2014 and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Services at Matrix Medical Network where she oversees a clinical field staff of over 6,000 clinicians. She is a visionary leader in the medical field and is deeply passionate about bringing accessible, affordable quality care to people in need nationwide.
Dr. Hill-Mekoba began her nursing career over twenty years ago in hospital cardiac and critical care units. After leaving the hospital setting, Dr. Hill-Mekoba served as a Workers Compensation Case Manager and progressed to the occupational health environment, providing leadership for over eight years to the Linden, New Jersey and Doraville, Georgia medical departments at General Motors Corporation.
After her tenure at GM, she joined the clinical services departments at Kimberly Clark and Ciba Vision to help implement primary care health programs in the workplace. She was also co-owner of an internal medicine practice that served a large Spanish speaking community.
In 2006, Dr. Hill-Mekoba followed her entrepreneurial spirit and founded a medical house call practice to serve the geriatric community residing in subsidized, public housing in the city of Atlanta. She maintained that practice for several years until she accepted a leadership position at United Health Care in their House Calls division.
