President and CEO,
Commonwealth Care Alliance® (CCA)
Chris Palmieri has a deep expertise in publicly funded managed healthcare and has been committed to providing quality care and specialized services addressing social determinants to underserved populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. For over 23 years he has been developing, growing, and leading healthcare organizations, with a passion for developing solutions for underserved high-need, high cost populations.

CCA has rapidly achieved long-term sustainability while growing the revenue and customer base by 50% in just under three years.
Immediately prior to CCA, Palmieri served as the CEO of Remedy Partners, a bundled payment organization. Prior to this, Chris spent nearly ten years with Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY), as President and Chief Executive Officer of VNSNY Health Plans, where he
successfully developed a $2 billion safety-net insurance organization. Palmieri has also held senior positions with Amerigroup Corporation, Metropolitan Jewish Health System, Inc., and Faxton-St. Luke’s Health Care/Mohawk Valley Network, Inc. In 2012, Chris was named one of Crain’s New York “40 Under 40,” a distinction for the top business leaders under age 40.
Palmieri currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP), and the Vice Chair of the national Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) Association.
