Diane Holder serves as President and CEO of UPMC Health Plan and Insurance Services Division and Executive Vice President of UPMC. Based in Pittsburgh, UPMC is one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers with a large clinical delivery system including 25 academic, community and specialty hospitals, over 600 outpatient locations, 3,600 employed physicians and a large distributed network of rehabilitative, psychiatric and home care services. UPMC provides governmental and employer sponsored health insurance and benefit management services through a large portfolio of highly rated health insurance and benefit management companies, currently serving over 3 million members. As a global health enterprise recognized for excellence, UPMC provides clinical services, including cancer and transplant services, in over a dozen countries. Ms. Holder has served in a CEO capacity for both hospital and insurance organizations. She has been recognized by numerous organizations for leadership and commitment to the health care industry and for her leadership in supporting the advancement of women in the workplace. She serves on numerous community and national boards and participates in graduate education as a faculty member of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and as adjunct faculty of the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health.
