In Elaine’s five years at Wellframe, she has focused on driving payer-provider collaboration, quality improvement, and care team performance optimization. Elaine also provides strategic oversight to Wellframe clinical content.
Elaine is a practicing urgent care physician and the Medical Director of the Medical Walk-In Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is an Instructor at Harvard Medical School and is a speaker on digital innovation in healthcare for the Harvard Medical School Executive Education Program.
Previously, Elaine has been a leader and super-user for multiple technology procurements and implementations in the provider setting, including two EPIC rollouts at large hospitals in Boston. She has also served as an associate editor for HealthCare: The Journal of Delivery Science and Innovation, and has authored clinical content for both patient and clinician facing organizations including AccessMedicine.
Elaine received her BA from Harvard College, her MD from Harvard Medical School, and her MBA from Harvard Business School where she was selected as a Robert. S Kaplan Life Sciences Fellow. She did her residency in Primary Care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she was the recipient of the McArthur Fellowship for Clinical Leadership.
