Ms. Riordan joined UPMC Health Plan as the Vice President, Consumer Innovation in 2016 with over 20 years of strategy experience in consulting and the healthcare industry. She is responsible for assessing potential partnerships and commercialization of UPMC Health Plan assets. With a background in strategy and design, she is adept at assessing both human factors and financial value in the rapidly evolving consumer digital health marketplace.

Prior to joining UPMC, Elizabeth held several roles in the healthcare space, focused on strategy, innovation and clinical operations translation, facilitating market entry and growth through creative business models and execution of partnership agreements.

Before transitioning to healthcare, Elizabeth spent over a decade in consulting for public and private sector clients and as a Six Sigma Black Belt in General Electric’s Experienced Commercial Leadership Program. She holds an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and BA from the University of Virginia.
