Gayle Dichter is currently Vice President of Pharmacy for Neighborhood Health Plan of RI. Gayle is passionate about the role pharmacists can and should play as part of the health care team. Her interest in caring for the under-served population has resulted in her spending the last 15 years leading the pharmacy departments of health plans for dual eligibles, Medicaid and the Exchange. In this capacity, she has championed the importance of the pharmacist in the care management process and as an integral member of the Integrated Care Team.
Prior to her roles with health plans, Gayle worked in wide variety of capacities, including as a consultant, in a PBM, in Long Term Care Pharmacy, academic detailing, and in her family’s pharmacy.
She has an MBA from Bentley College, a pharmacy degree from Mass College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences and her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University.
