Greg A. Jones is an Executive Director, in the CVS Health, Government Affairs, Office of Public Policy. Greg joined Aetna in the summer of 2014 prior to the CVS Health acquisition, after spending six years in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Legislation. At CMS, Greg led a team responsible for providing technical assistance to Senate and House authorizing committees and Congressional offices on Medicare and Medicaid legislation and policy issues, including the Affordable Care Act. Greg has extensive experience in Medicare Advantage, Part D, and program integrity issues.
Prior to his time in the CMS, Office of Legislation, Greg held a variety of other roles in and out of Government. Greg was crucial in helping CMS design their strategy to combat Part D prescription drug fraud, waste and abuse, serving as the liaison between CMS and law enforcement agencies, including the HHS, Office of Inspector General (OIG), the U.S. Department of Justice, and FBI. Greg also worked at the HHS, OIG for eight years, where he was responsible for developing and evaluating corporate compliance programs to determine the type and scope of enforcement actions in the resolution of civil health care fraud cases.
