Greg Scott is national leader of Deloitte’s Health Plan practice, which comprises consulting, audit, enterprise risk, tax, and financial advisory services.
He has over 25 years of industry experience as management consultant, insurance company executive and government official. His personal expertise includes health system reform, Medicare, Medicaid, market strategy, organizational performance improvement, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a respected analyst and commentator on public policy and marketplace trends. Greg has a distinguished track record of service and impact across a broad range of clients, including commercial health plans, integrated delivery systems, pharmacy benefit managers, and federal and state government agencies.
Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting in 1998, Greg served in executive and line management roles with Anthem, Inc. (now WellPoint). Previously, he served in policy and finance roles with the federal Health Care Financing Administration (now the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services).
He is an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh, where he received his BA in English Literature and his MPA in Public Policy and Management. Greg resides in Pittsburgh, PA. He is active in his community, including serving on the board of directors of public television and radio broadcaster WQED Multimedia. He is the proud father of two daughters, both collegians.
