Ingrid has led the development of proven wellness and population health programs in the health insurance, non-profit, clinical and public school sectors.  She is currently leading the Health Literacy strategy at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.  She speaks at conferences nationally on health literacy, with an emphasis on implementing a comprehensive strategy and measuring results.

Ingrid is a member of the adjunct faculty at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Public Health.  She was recently recognized with a 40 Under 40 award by the Triangle Business Journal and with a School Health Champion award by the NC Department of Public Instruction.  Ingrid earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Stanford University and her master’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill.
