Dr. Meyerhoff is a Senior Behavioral Health National Medical Director with Optum and has been with the organization for more than 20 years. He has experience working with both national and local health plans. Dr. Meyerhoff oversees quality initiatives that focus on improving member care. He has developed clinical innovations in the areas of dementia care, case management and medical behavioral integration.
Dr. Meyerhoff serves as Optum Behavioral Health’s national clinical Integration leader, which allows him to improve the coordination of quality, evidence-based care for members with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses. He frequently speaks to national audiences on the topic and consults with regional health plans across the country.
Dr. Meyerhoff is board-certified in Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. He is a Graduate of Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois and completed his psychiatric residency and his fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Meyerhoff serves on the NCQA Behavioral Health Measures Advisory Panel.
