Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in managed health care with a deep focus on the clinical quality measures, reporting, and the ratings used to assess performance of health plans. She currently leads Optum Advisory Service’s Quality practice. Prior to consulting, she was the National Vice President of Quality for UnitedHealthcare’s Community and State Business (Medicaid and DSNP). Jennifer also held a variety of local and national roles at Anthem supporting all lines of business where she focused on quality improvement, the design and deployment of value-based contracting programs and quality data analytics. Jennifer is a graduate fellow at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California where she worked on multiple health care quality measurement and reporting initiatives. She received her Ph.D. in Public Policy Studies from the RAND Graduate School with a concentration in health policy, and her Master’s in Public Health from the University of Michigan.
