Director, Operations and Evaluation, Social Impact,
UPMC Health Plan
I am a Senior Program Administrator with the new UPMC Center for Social Impact, part of the Insurance Services Division of UPMC. As a social intervention evaluator, I work with a multidisciplinary team to design and evaluate health-plan driven actions to address member- and community-level health related social needs. With UPMC since 2017, I have designed and overseen research and evaluation projects that aim to improve health care quality, value, and efficiency, and ultimately improve patient experience and health outcomes. I have expertise in research design, grant writing and administration, program evaluation, and working with diverse stakeholders, including community-based organizations and community members.
I have a Doctorate in Public Health with a focus on Behavioral and Community Health Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. Outside of work, I am Board President of HEARTH, a transitional housing program for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence, and on the Board of the Pittsburgh Child Guidance Foundation. I live in Pittsburgh with my husband and two children.
