Joanne Jee, MPH, is a policy director and the congressional liaison at the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC). Her work focuses on CHIP and children’s coverage, telehealth, quality reporting, and Medicaid response to COVID-19. Prior to joining MACPAC, she was a program director at the National Academy for State Health Policy, where she focused on children’s coverage issues. Joanne also has been a senior analyst at GAO, a program manager at The Lewin Group, and a legislative analyst in the HHS Office of Legislation. Joanne has a master of public health from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a bachelor of science in human development from the University of California, Davis.
