Liz Hamel is Director of Public Opinion and Survey Research at the Kaiser Family Foundation. She has over 17 years’ experience measuring public opinion on a range of health-related topics, including health insurance and health reform, the cost of care and prescription drugs, views of Medicare and Medicaid, and people’s experiences in the health care system. In her role at KFF, she also manages survey projects conducted with the Foundation’s media partners, including The Washington Post, The CNN, and The Economist. Liz is active in both the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and its Pacific chapter (PAPOR). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University.
