Maternal Child Youth Programs Manager,
Maegan Pelatt is the Maternal Child Youth Programs Manager for CareOregon, a nonprofit based in Portland, Oregon. Maegan develops and leads cross-organizational strategies with the goal of improving maternal-child and youth health. Prior to joining the team at CareOregon in 2018, Maegan held managerial positions with other Medicaid and Medicare health organizations in Oregon where she helped develop Population Health and Care Management teams.
In 2016, Maegan led efforts to develop and implement a culturally-specific, community-based, doula program. This doula program was one of the first to be contracted and financially sustained through Medicaid billable encounters. Over the span of fifteen years, Maegan has served Medicare and Medicaid populations through various direct-care and programmatic roles.
Maegan has a master’s degree in social work, a graduate certificate in infant toddler mental health, and a bachelor’s degree in child and family studies from Portland State University.
