Matthew Harms is the Director of Business Development within Aetna’s Consumer Health & Services division. Matt’s primary responsibilities include presenting the Aetna total value proposition to internal and external constituents for both new business and current customers and acting as the primary contact for the Aetna account teams, consultant firms, and/or customer personnel surrounding Aetna’s digital transformation. He has been with Aetna since January 2014.

 

Prior to joining Aetna, Matt worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) from 2010 – 2014 within their Key & Large New Business department as a national sales consultant for large (1,000+) employer groups. Matt also worked in the consulting world for Willis Towers Watson within their Health & Group Benefits Practice for five years prior to joining BCBSM.

 

Matthew graduated from Providence College with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then went on and graduated with Delta Mu Delta honors within his master’s degree from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration.
