Paul began professional life as a board certified internist, pulmonologist and intensivist. After more than a decade in academic and private practice, he served for over a decade as a hospital senior VP for medical affairs and chief medical officer where he was the co-architect in developing a home grown hospital clinical information system.

Dr. Mendelowitz received his medical degree from George Washington University Medical School in Washington DC. He trained in internal, pulmonary and critical care medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He also received a master’s degree in public health from Columbia University and completed a graduate certification in Health Information Technology from Stevens Institute of Technology. For over ten years was a member of the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners and is a past-president. His most formative work experience was as a vendor at Shea Stadium selling hot dogs and beer for the NY Mets and NY Yankees.

Dr. Mendelowitz provides consultative analytic services to help clients understand the value they derive from care management programs. He also managed our clinical, utilization and financial performance guarantees and maintains the health economic models used to calculate programs savings. He has developed innovative reporting such as the Spectrum of Health and the ActiveHealth Index.
