Peter Rasmussen, MD, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, Wisconsin. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, fellowship training in interventional neuroradiology/endovascular neurosurgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and a fellowship in microsurgical treatment of cerebrovascular disease at the Cleveland Clinic. A recognized innovator and KOL of both telemedicine and endovascular neurosurgery, Dr. Rasmussen served as Medical Director for the Cleveland Clinic’s Enterprise Digital Health Program for 6 years, leading many virtual care innovations. He is past Vice Chair of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons/Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Cerebrovascular Section, Past President of the Society of Neuroendovascular Surgery, and has been appointed as a fellow of the American Heart Association (FAHA), the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS), and the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery (FSNIS).
