Stephanie Selby, RN, RBLP-T is an accomplished and respected executive with a record of driving change in health care. Ms. Selby is an innovative registered nurse with expertise in managed care and health care informatics, having recently served as the Chief Clinical Operations Officer for University of Maryland Medical System Health Plans (UMMSHP). There, she had oversight of UMMSHP’s population health and case management programs, medical and pharmacy management, appeals and grievances, and operational effectiveness and learning management. Ms. Selby has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry working in both the clinical and IT settings. Prior to joining UMMSHP, she spent four years with a Medicare Advantage organization focused on clinical process improvement and business solutions. She began her career in several healthcare startups including a physician-owned and operated third party administrator, as well as the first Medicare Plus Choice program operated within one of the nation’s leading continuing care retirement communities. Ms. Selby is additionally a Six Sigma Black Belt and Resilience-Building Leadership Professional Trainer focused on business process improvement, project implementation, and innovative solutions. Ms. Selby has an associate’s degree in Nursing from Harford Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Notre Dame University of Maryland.
