Virginia serves as health policy advisor to Chairman Lamar Alexander on the United States Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. Virginia’s current work focuses on the commercial insurance markets and Chairman Alexander’s legislative initiative to lower health care costs. Virginia previously served as Oversight and Investigations Professional Staff for the HELP committee, focusing on implementation of the Affordable Care Act and health cybersecurity. Virginia joined the HELP Committee in 2012 after graduating from the University of Virginia.
