Young Joo is the Vice President of Clinical Operations at CareMore Health System, an innovative health plan & care delivery system with $1.2B revenue & over 100,000 members in 8 states. He is responsible for the overall performance and operations of 54 CareMore Care Centers that serve the holistic needs of members with a team-based approach that includes PCPs, Extensivists, Advanced Practice Clinicians, Medical Assistants, Behavior Health Clinicians, Case Managers, Social Workers, Podiatrists, and many other specialties.

Prior to joining CareMore in June 2017, Young Joo was the Vice President of Medicare Accountable Care for Steward Health Care System, a Boston-based integrated delivery system where he led the Steward’s Medicare Division to successfully generate over $30 million in savings through the Pioneer ACO, Next Generation ACO, and Bundled Payment for Care Improvement initiatives, innovative payment and service delivery models from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI).

He is a graduate of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with a concentration in Health Care Policy and Management and the University of California, Irvine with BS in Biology and BA in Asian American Studies.
