About This Webinar

The collection and management of provider data is essential to health care administration. Today, this information is used for transactional processes like credentialing and directory management. However, the potential to use this information to truly transform the way members navigate and receive care is increasingly apparent. But obstacles related to basic data collection put these advancements out of reach. As the breadth and depth of information required to power this opportunity grows, the industry faces challenges related to the collection and management of this data.

During this session, leaders from CAQH and the American Medical Association will describe how provider data can impact the health care experience in new and unexpected ways. They will also describe key insights and lessons learned related to provider data management. We will explore new ideas and approaches to overcoming these challenges, and ways provider data can be leveraged to enhance health equity initiatives and improve the experience of members and providers.

Attendees Will Learn

  • How provider data can be integrated into the health care experience, from member matching and care navigation to network adequacy and health equity initiatives
  • How health plans insurance providers are preparing to pursue these initiatives and what they’ve learned relative to provider data management and quality
