About This Webinar
The health insurance provider market is under significant pressure to control costs. The leading approach to controlling costs while improving the services provided to members is through Value Based Care arrangements with health care physicians. These arrangements broaden the relationship between health insurance providers and physicians, and that relationship requires additional data to support cost-saving activities. Currently, there is a need for a more effective health information exchange platform for health insurance providers. This is due to an absence of system integration across these exchanges, new regulatory requirements, and the lack of analytics.
In late 2022, Surescripts executed a primary research survey as part of a broader study to better understand health insurance providers’ most critical health data exchange challenges and interoperability priorities and initiatives. This webinar will reveal key observations and findings from the study, including a look at current health insurance provider data accessibility and data exchange workflow needs. Additionally, learn what current approaches and pilots are being explored, as well as future interoperability use cases and opportunities.
