About This Webinar
Supporting Medicaid enrollees’ health care needs is challenging. Health literacy, changing contact information, issues related to SDoH, lack of trust in the health care system, and many other factors contribute to the challenge. Traditional outreach efforts used by health insurance providers and similar organizations to engage members may be effective but often are limited in scalability and may unintentionally perpetuate fragmentation with a point solution approach. It also can result in a transactional view–with a focus on completing a health care action and moving onto the next–rather than support through a person’s unique care journey that includes both physical as well as mental health.
From digital communities that support members with similar health conditions, to digital therapeutic media that “makes medicine fun”, to culturally inclusive and destigmatized outreach and the powerful AI that connects it all to drive highly personalized experiences, the movement is from a fragmented point solution approach to health sequences that gives each member the care they need, when they need it, in the way they want it. And when that happens, engagement naturally follows.
