Agents and brokers play a vital role in helping consumers understand the Federally-facilitated Marketplace (FFM), explore their options, and get enrolled. Make sure you’re fully prepared to meet their needs. AHIP is CMS’ exclusively approved vendor for Federal Marketplace Training.

Two online courses are available:

  • Individual Marketplace Training — Required by CMS if you want to sell products through the Marketplace. In most states, Continuing Education (CE) credits are also available* when you take this AHIP course.
  • Individual Marketplace Training for Returning Agents and Brokers — If you passed your required Individual Marketplace Training for plan year 2018 and wish to update your training to sell through the Marketplace for plan year 2019, this quick option may be the right choice for you. In most states, you can earn CE credits through AHIP.

*CE credits are available for a small additional fee. The number of CE credits available varies by training option and state. Details are available here.
