Washington, D.C. – September 26, 2022 –Executives from 2 AHIP member companies were named to Fierce Healthcare’s list of the most influential minority executives in health care, which spotlights the key contributions made by people of color across health insurance providers, health systems, physicians' offices, health technology, and research.
The list included Dr. Shantanu Agrawal, Chief Health Officer of Elevance Health, and Dr. Luis Torres, Behavioral Health Medical Director at Evernorth, the health services business of Cigna, and a CEO Action of Racial Equity fellow at Cigna.
