Today, Matt Eyles, AHIP President and CEO, and Elizabeth “Liz” Cahn Goodman, JD, MSW, DrPH, AHIP Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and Innovation, were named to The Hill’s Top Lobbyists 2021 list. Determined by one of the nation’s largest and most prestigious political news outlets, this annual list recognizes “the people who wielded their connections and knowledge most effectively for their clients.”
As leaders in the health care industry, Eyles and Goodman advocate for improving the health of all Americans by fighting inequities in health care, educating people about the importance of vaccinations and helping them get vaccinated, ensuring care during COVID-19, protecting patients from surprise medical bills, and improving access to affordable coverage and care.
Today’s announcement reflects AHIP’s continued commitment to Guiding Greater Health by making health care better and coverage more affordable and accessible for everyone.
2021 marks the third year in a row that both Eyles and Goodman were recognized by The Hill as Top Lobbyists. Goodman was also recognized as a Top Lobbyist in 2018.
