Amy Bricker

Amy Bricker is President of Express Scripts, one of the nation’s leading pharmacy benefit management (PBM) companies that serves more than 112 million Americans. Express Scripts is part of Evernorth, which is the health services business of Cigna Corporation that connects and coordinates innovative and flexible solutions for health plans, employers, and government programs.
In this role, Amy leads all aspects of the PBM business-- including client relationships, supply chain, and drug procurement -- to deliver affordable, predictable, and simple access to prescription medications for plans and patients. Express Scripts is a key enabler of Evernorth’s Benefits Management+ capability that creates affordability and personalized benefit management experiences for clients and patients.
Leveraging her clinical expertise, Amy is passionate about creating value through collaboration across the Evernorth portfolio, delivering innovative solutions to make a meaningful difference in the lives of its members, and advancing the company’s position as a partner of choice across the industry.
Since joining Express Scripts in 2010, Amy has held leadership roles in pharmacy network management, supply chain economics, and supply chain product. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President Supply Chain, responsible for key relationships and strategic initiatives across the pharmaceutical supply chain. Her role has expanded to include leadership of our full portfolio of business division and client relationships, including Commercial, Health Plan, Federal Programs and Medicare/Medicaid regulated business.
Prior to joining the company, Amy held various leadership positions at Walgreens Health Services. Her earlier retail pharmacy career included positions with BJC Healthcare and Walgreen Company.
Amy is the incoming chairperson of the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA), the national association representing PBMs. She also serves on the boards of the St. Louis Regional Business Council and Harris House Treatment and Recovery Center in St. Louis. From 2016 to 2019, she served as a commissioner on the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC), which advises the U.S. Congress on issues affecting the Medicare program. She also served as chair of the American Heart Association’s 2022 Heart of St. Louis fundraiser.
Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
