Amy Meister, DO, MRO, is the Chief Medical Officer at WW, where she is responsible for leading access to global medical services across the business with behavioral science, clinical solutions, and virtual and in-person experiences.
Dr. Meister brings over 23 years of experience with a strong background in population health management, care delivery best practices, including virtual health, and managed care services. Before joining WW, Dr. Meister held various leadership positions with UnitedHealth Group including CEO of Level2, where she led the creation of a digital platform focused on people living with type 2 diabetes, president of Optum On-Site Solutions, and VP of Employer Health Services at MedExpress. She has also served in several roles at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in both the payer and provider divisions including Associate Chief Medical Officer, Chief Health and Wellness Officer, and VP of Community and Ambulatory Services. Dr. Meister completed her medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and residency in internal medicine from Johns Hopkins University.
