Chanchal Yadav, MD is a practicing physician leader with over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, traversing both payor and provider domains. As Chief Medical Officer at Care 1st Health Plan, Arizona Complete Health (AzCH), Centene Corporation, Dr. Yadav provides medical leadership to the health plan’s medical management functions and care delivery strategy, especially focused on improving access, quality, and experience for Medicaid beneficiaries with complex physical, behavioral, and social needs in the frontier and remote counties of Northern Arizona. Arizona Complete Health is the Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) in Northern and Southern Arizona and provides behavioral health services, care -coordination and support to over 15,000 eligible Medicaid beneficiaries affected by substance use disorder and crisis.

Prior to Centene, Dr. Yadav worked at CareMore Health, Anthem, Inc., as a Regional Medical Officer, where she provided strategic and operational leadership to CareMore’s integrated care delivery system and clinical programs designed to serve vulnerable senior members with complex medical, social, and behavioral health issues in Arizona and California. Besides her extensive clinical experience, she has expertise in leadership, clinical program design and physician education.

Dr. Yadav received her medical training at Lady Hardinge Medical College, one of the top five medical schools in India. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital, New York, in 2007 and graduated from the MBA program at UCLA Anderson in 2019, with certifications in Entrepreneurship, Global Management and Technology Management.

Dr. Yadav’s focus and passion lie at the intersection of care delivery transformation through technology and value-based strategies that improve clinical outcomes and quality of care, member, and provider experience, and reduce health care disparities.
