A credentialed and experienced actuary, Chris Dickerson’s expertise is in Medicaid managed care, risk adjustment, and capitation rate development, as well as rate development for long-term services and support, and physical and behavioral health.
Mr. Dickerson’s clients include state health and human services agencies, health plans, and financing divisions for whom he provided actuarial services, reviewing, and setting Medicaid rates creating models of financial impact. He developed and launched a new Medicaid managed care program for the state of Nebraska and has been a lead developer of HMA’s PHE Redetermination model, which projects and tracks the impact of Medicaid redeterminations in all 50 states.
Mr. Dickerson earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Arizona State University and has an Association of the Society of Actuaries designation. He is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
