Chris Regal
Director, Clinical Innovation, AHIP
Christopher Regal is Director of Clinical Innovation with America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). Mr. Regal contributes to programs and industry-wide initiatives with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans and works with AHIP members to highlight their innovative programs. He contributes on a variety of relevant topic areas, including telehealth and digital health, substance use disorder and opioids, preventive medicine, and population health issues.
Prior to joining AHIP, Mr. Regal consulted with the Lewin Group, working on projects with the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange.
Mr. Regal received his master’s degree in Health and Medical Policy from George Mason University and a degree in politics from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
