Christie Teigland, PhD is Vice President, Research Science and Advanced Analytics of Inovalon Insights. She leads the design and implementation of studies focused on performance measure development and testing, health disparities/equity, predictive analytics, comparative effectiveness, and treatment patterns. Christie works with health plans, providers, and life science organizations to provide actionable real world data insights. She serves as co-chair of the National Quality Forum (NQF) Scientific Methods Panel and is a member of the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) Quality Measure Expert Panel. Christie previously served as Principal, Advanced Analytics at Avalere and as Senior Director of Health Economics at Inovalon where she managed performance measure development projects awarded by the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) including All-Cause Readmissions and Potentially Avoidable Hospitalizations. Prior to joining Inovalon, Christie specialized in quality and patient safety research at Leading Age New York, where she directed the development of innovative technology solutions to advance the use of data-driven decision making. Christie earned a Ph.D. in Economics and Econometric Forecasting from the University of New York at Albany and a BA in Management Science and Economics from Moorhead State University.
