A board-certified internist, Daniel Knecht, MD, currently serves as Vice President, Chief Clinical Innovation Officer at CVS Caremark. Dr. Knecht’s focus is on helping clients better understand the evolving landscape of therapeutics and CVS Caremark. Dr. Knecht’s focus is on helping clients better understand the evolving landscape of therapeutics and clinical care, develop strategies for better patient care and outcomes, and manage costs.
Dr. Knecht is a Fulbright scholar and graduated with honors from Dartmouth College. He also has a joint MD, MBA, from Weill Cornell Medical College & Johnson Graduate School of Management. He is an associate clinical professor at Mount Sinai West in New York City where he still cares for patients. In February 2024, Knecht was selected as Modern Healthcare’s 40 Under 40.
