Deb Vona, MBA, is the Senior Director of Business Operations for the Health and Medical Management (HMM) Division of BCBSMA. In this role, Deb is responsible for collaborating with the HMM and BCBSMA leaders to design and execute operational initiatives to develop the most efficient and effective clinical operations system. Deb has more than 20 years’ experience in health care administration, finance, and operations improvement. Before joining BCBSMA in 2018, Deb was Senior Director of Operations at Atrius Health and also served as a Chief Administrative Officer for the Department of Orthopedics at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She earned her master’s degree in health care management at Boston University and her bachelor’s in accounting at University of Massachusetts.
