Dele Solaru joined the US Office of Personnel Management as Chief Pharmacy Officer in October 2016, bringing over 20 years of experience in managed care, hospital and retail pharmacy operations.
At OPM, Dele has primary responsibility for the oversight of pharmacy programs, formularies, pharmacy quality initiatives, coordination of pharmacy benefits and developing pharmacy policies. Prior to joining OPM, Dele Solaru worked at EnvisionRx as director of formulary operations where she had responsibility for overseeing formulary operations and ensuring compliance with various regulatory agencies. Other previous experiences include Healthspan Integrated Care, Kaiser Permanente, The Cleveland Clinic and CVS pharmacy. Dele holds a PharmD from The Ohio State University, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Ife in Nigeria.
