Floribella Redondo Martinez

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Arizona Community Health Workers Association (AZCHOW)

Ms. Redondo began her journey as a Promotora in 1994, educating her farmworker peers on HIV and STDs in the agriculture fields of Arizona and California. Today, she is nationally recognized as a leader in public health having served as a key informant for CDC, AHRQ's, and Association of Diabetes Care Education Specialists. Most recently, she has been recognized for her efforts in advocating for and organizing a voluntary certification path for the CHW workforce in Arizona.

In addition to her role at AZCHOW, she is also an Arizona state-appointed CHW Advisory Board member for AZ CHW Voluntary Certification, Co-chair for the C 3 National CHW Core Consensus II phase project, Co-Chair of the Arizona CHW Coalition, member of the National CHW Common Indicators project, Chair-elect for the APHA CHW Section, and Board member for the National Association of CHWs. Ms. Redondo also serves as Lead Faculty for the CHW Occupational Certificate program at Arizona Western College.

She received her BS of Health and Human Services from the University of Phoenix in 2012.
