Guy D’Andrea
Executive Director, Catalyst for Payment Reform
Guy D’Andrea is the Executive Director of the Catalyst for Payment Reform. He brings 30 years of health policy and strategic consulting to CPR, with a special focus on performance measures and innovative payment models.
As Executive Director, Guy works with the CPR staff and Board of Directors to implement ideas and develop resources that will drive greater value in health care. Guy founded Discern Health in 2004, growing it from a single-person consultancy to a team of over 30 talented staff. Discern’s clients included trade groups and associations, health plans, government, and life sciences companies. More recently, Guy worked as an entrepreneur-in-residence for Healthworx, the investment and innovation arm of CareFirst health plan. Earlier in his career, Guy was Vice President at URAC, where he was responsible for the development of URAC’s accreditation programs and its government affairs activities. Guy earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and dual Master of Business Administration degrees from Columbia University and the London Business School. He also completed a business innovation program at Oxford University.
