Hilliard “Hilly” Paige, Jr. joined the Family Heart Foundation as the Chief Innovation Officer in October 2022. He has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including leading patient and professional advocacy functions, new product franchises, product development and commercialization teams, strategic planning and launch strategies for products in the cardiovascular and metabolic therapeutic areas.

Prior to joining Family Heart, Hilly was the Vice-President of Marketing for Esperion Therapeutics. Prior to Esperion, Hilly held positions of increasing responsibility in Sales, US Marketing, Global Marketing, and Advocacy Relations at Amgen, Daiichi-Sankyo, Novartis, and Parke-Davis.

In 2021, Hilly received the Spirit of the Heart Health Equity Champion award from the Association of Black Cardiologists. He has worked with organizations like ABC, the National Medical Association, the National Black Nurses Association, the National Hispanic Medical Association, and the National Minority Health Alliance on initiatives to eliminate disparities and improve health outcomes over the years.

He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BS degree in Biology/Chemistry and lives with his wife and two sons in Newbury Park, CA.
